To even further prove my point, the gun's pen is only 133mm at 100m. I know this tank is rare but I think that this tank deserves to be put down to 5.3 again. The armor is amazing but when it gets uptiered to 6.7, which it does quite a bit, it does not perform well and is not a fun tank. Not only that, it can not pen anything frontally on any Tiger 6.7. The KV-220 is the Soviet's Tiger and yet, it has a worse shell that is unable to penetrate the T-25 armor cheeksĀ at 6.0. Pretty sure you have something similar on the Russian tree.IS2 or T34/85 i guess. If you want a strong gun.you need a different tank.at 5.0 for instance you have different M4 variants.which have way less armor (at same BR) as it should be. The gun is "average" at the BR.but can do the job.ideally you pair the tank with something with a bigger gun and play "shield and sword". Going back to Jumbo (which seems similar).both are tanks where the gun/armor/mobility balance is skewed heavily towards armor.so they feel like fortresses at their BR and can keep the armor effectiveness a bit above.(but can expect to keep it when -1BR). If i recall correctly (didnt see many Kv220s) the tank is very strong at its BR and a major headache when it is top tier.so i doubt it is a candidate for BR increase.and surely not on the above argument. The compensation usually is they being heavily armored at their BR (and below). This phrase is valid for 80% of the tanks in cant be the main argument or all would be raised in BR.and the issue would remain.most tanks feel outgunned when overtiered.mainly the heavy tanks. (.) Why is it so under powered and outgunned? (.) when it gets uptiered to X.X, which it does quite a bit, it does not perform well and is not a fun tank.
